Renby Limited is a family owned and managed company dedicated to working for a sustainable, cleaner and safer world. Renby was formed in 2001 by the incorporation of B. Travis & Co. (Engineering), which was founded in 1966.

The current Managing Director of Renby, Robin Travis, began his career as a professional electronic and electrical engineer. He has transformed the company into a dynamic engineering company that identifies niche market opportunities and researches the engineering world for practical solutions.

Renby recognises there are always new problems to be solved or new ways of solving old problems and is constantly seeking innovative cost effective solutions for its customers. If Renby is unable to source an existing solution, it devises its own. Renby holds two current patents and its forerunners have held a further four patents.

About Tarvin Mill

Situated in a rural location, 5 miles east of Chester, Tarvin Mill is located on the outskirts of the village of Tarvin.

Originally constructed as a water mill in the early 19th century, the mill is almost 200 years old. It was converted to electrical milling in the 20th century and was changed into offices in the 1970s. Some features of its original use such as wooden shaft bearings are still visible in the modernised building.
